State Coordinator

Young Readers Club – NG is an initiative aimed at improving the reading habits of young children in Nigeria. To achieve our goals, we seek credible applicants for the position of State Coordinators to manage the affairs and activities of YRC-NG School Representatives in the state.

Responsibilities:

• Submit proposals to Primary and secondary schools in your state for incorporation of YRC-NG
• Ensure acceptance of YRC-NG proposal in schools in your state where you have submitted proposals.
• Coordinate school activities with the school reps
• Coordinate monthly competitions in YRC-NG incorporated schools
• Coordinate quarterly competitions in YRC-NG incorporated schools
• Submit weekly reports to the president no later than 9pm every Fridays
• Attend virtual meetings weekly

Requirement:

• Must be a book lover – reading voluminous books such as novels etc.
• Must be responsible in appearance
• Must have access to internet and good devices such as a particularly good smartphone or tablet or laptop or all the above
• Must be a resident of his/her state
• Must be conversant with Microsoft Teams, Outlook/Emails, MS Word, and Excel
• Must be passionate about the job role

Salary Structure:

• Basic start salary – ₦20,000/month
• Monthly incentives based on performance
• Contracts
